Studio Rules

  • All students must wear dance attire that is appropriate to their class.
  • All students must wear cover‐ups and shoes to and from the studio.
  • No gum, food or drinks allowed in the dance rooms.
  • Throw away any trash that you have at the end of the night before you leave so that we can keep our lobby clean.
  • Students should arrive at least 5 to 10 minutes before their class time to assure promptness and avoid class disturbances.
The Teacher/Staff of NLDS are not available to “baby‐sit” students left in the lobby. All parents need to make sure they are aware of their children’s class schedule for prompt drop‐off/pick‐up times.
  • The well-being of our students and their families is of utmost concern to us. If you leave your children unattended inside the lobby of NLDS, or outside the building, please note they will not have adult supervision from the Teachers/Staff of NLDS. Please remember that our instructors and office staff cannot be responsible for your child before or after their class. Your child’s instructor has another class starting immediately or is eager to get home to her family. Thank you for your consideration for both your child and our instructors. There is a lot of traffic in the drive and parking lot of our studio, so keep a watchful eye!
  • Students are not allowed to wait outside …at any age.
  • Please make certain that your child visits the restroom just before class. This allows your child to get uninterrupted instruction for the full class.
  • Purses, jewelry, and other valuables should not be left unattended. Neither NLDS nor its Teachers/Staff will be held responsible for loss or theft of personal items. We ask that each student please be respectful of others and do not bother with anyone else’s belongings. Students may bring dance bags into class with teacher’s permission.
  • Students are encouraged to attend class on a regular basis for maximum progress. If you are interested in taking extra classes, making up a missed class, or taking private lessons please talk with your instructor.
  • No students allowed in the dance rooms without a Teacher or Assistant to supervise.
  • Utmost respect is to be given to your instructors. Teachers have the option to dismiss any student who disrupts the class.

Attendance

Good attendance is imperative as absences and tardiness can hold back an entire class. It is the teacher’s discretion whether to allow a student in class if he or she is more than ten minutes late. Every time a student comes in the room it disrupts the class and this is not fair to the other students. Please make every effort to have your child at every class. In the event he or she needs to miss a class, please give the studio a call and leave word he or she will not be in class that day.

Tuition

Fees for all classes must be paid by the first class of the month. Any tuition payment received after the 10th of the month will be automatically charged a $25 late fee. We regret having to initiate these types of procedures, but timely receipt of tuition is vital to the Studio being able to keep this wonderful facility running! There is a 20% discount for additional family members. No Limits Dance Studio reserves the right not to admit student(s) to class in the event they are 60 days late in tuition payment.

Monthly Tuition Rates:
One class per week: $55
Two classes per week: $75
Three classes per week: $95
Four classes per week: $115
Unlimited: $130

Tuition is due prior to your first lesson each month and is nonrefundable. Tuition is the same regardless of the number of weeks in the month.

Late Fee Policy

TUITION IS DUE THE FIRST OF EACH MONTH and should be paid no later than the 10th of each month and is non-refundable. Tuition may be paid by mail, through the mail slot in our door, or placed in the Drop Box at our studio.
Unfortunately, in the past we have had a big problem with late payments so we must impose a late fee of $25 to all bills not paid promptly each month. We hope we don’t have to charge a single late fee all year, but there will be no exceptions (including student absence) to this policy!
Unless your monthly tuition is received by the 10th of each month, this late fee will automatically be billed to your account. An additional late fee will be charged each month until you are fully paid to date. Students whose accounts are more than two months in arrears will not be able to continue in classes. In no case will a student receive Recital costumes and participate in the Recital until their account is paid in full for the year, including any outstanding late fees.

Returned Check Charge

We charge an additional $30 in any circumstance when your bank does not honor your check. After two bad checks, all subsequent payments must be made by cash or money order.

Missed Classes and Refunds

Missed classes can be made up in the same dance discipline of an appropriate level. Students are encouraged to call the studio when they will be absent from a class.

Cancellations

No Limits Dance Studio reserves the right to cancel a class if enrollment is not sufficient. The instructor will make every effort to place the child in another class. A full refund will be issued in the event a class is not available.

Trial Classes

New students may try one class on a complimentary basis. If you decide to enroll, this class will count as your first class and payment will be due by the beginning of your second class.

Please drop off and pick up promptly

We have a very small lobby so please drop off and pick up your children promptly before and after class. Also, siblings not participating in class must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If your child is in the last class of the day we ask that you pick them up on time. We are anxious to leave the studio and get home to our families before retiring for the evening.

Only No Limits Students in Class

Due to safety and insurance requirements, we are unable to permit students to “bring a friend” to class. In addition, no one (not even parents, friends, siblings) should ever be inside the classrooms except the teacher and dancers enrolled in the class. Dancers should not enter the room before the teacher. These policies minimize accidents and maximize time and attention for the tuition-paying dancers! NOTE - once-a-year, so as not to interrupt the progress of classes, we sometimes schedule a special "bring-a-friend" to class.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available with Kristi, Mandy, or Susan at an extra charge of $20 per half hour. Contact the instructor to schedule time for any private lessons needed.

Registration

Returning Students - Early Bird Registration

The annual non-refundable registration fee is $125 per family. Each family will be entitled to receive four (4) complimentary tickets to the June recital with their paid registration. Additional tickets may be available for a $10 donation on a first come, first serve basis. Please Note: Whether or not your child chooses to dance in this recital we regret this fee is non-refundable.
