No Limits Dance Studio Policies
At No Limits Dance Studio, our policies are designed to create a positive, respectful, and organized environment for all dancers, families, and staff. These guidelines help ensure that every student receives the highest quality dance education in a safe, supportive, and professional setting.
Whether it’s attendance expectations, dress codes, tuition guidelines, or studio etiquette, we believe that clear communication and mutual understanding are key to a successful dance experience. We encourage all parents and dancers to review our studio policies carefully and refer to them throughout the season.
By working together and following these policies, we can maintain a focused and joyful space where our dancers can thrive—both personally and artistically.

General Studio Policies
At No Limits Dance Studio, we strive to create a positive, respectful, and safe learning environment for every dancer. Please review the following studio policies to help ensure a smooth experience for students, parents, and instructors:
- Dress Code
All students are expected to follow our Dress Code. Proper dance attire helps foster focus, discipline, and allows instructors to provide accurate feedback on technique and alignment. - Attendance and Punctuality
Consistent attendance and arriving on time are essential for each dancer’s progress and for the success of the class as a whole. If a student expects to arrive significantly late, we recommend scheduling a make-up class. - Food, Drink & Jewelry
No gum, food, or soda is allowed inside the dance rooms. For safety, students should avoid wearing bracelets, necklaces, or dangling/hoop earrings during class. Only stud earrings are permitted. - Restroom Use
Students should use the restroom before class begins to avoid disruptions. While we understand young children may occasionally need to leave during class, we encourage families to plan ahead. Preschoolers may need occasional parental support, and we work to ensure they always feel safe and cared for in our nurturing environment. - Lobby and Supervision
To reduce crowding, we ask parents to drop off and pick up students outside the lobby doors. For younger students who may need assistance with shoes or restroom use, parents are welcome to briefly enter the lobby but should exit once their child is settled. Please note that No Limits Dance Studio staff are not responsible for supervising children before or after class hours. A staff member will be in the lobby until 6:30 p.m. only. - Safety & Dress Code Upon Arrival/Departure
Students are not permitted to wait outside the building unsupervised, regardless of age. All students must wear appropriate cover-ups to and from class—no bathing suits in the summer, and no dance shoes should be worn outside the studio to maintain clean dance floors. - Respect in the Classroom
School-age children and teens are expected to behave respectfully and refrain from socializing during class in a disruptive manner. Students should give their full attention to the teacher and classmates. If a student struggles to adapt to the class environment over time, we will address the concern directly with parents. - Proper Hair and Attire
Students must arrive at class dressed according to the studio Dress Code. Ballet students should wear their hair in a secured bun with bobby pins and a hair net. Dance shoes should never be worn outside to protect the cleanliness of our floors. - Early Dismissals
If a student needs to leave class early, a parent must notify the instructor or staff in advance. For students who drive themselves, please ensure they are aware that parental permission is required before leaving the premises early. The studio will contact parents to confirm any early dismissals if we haven’t been notified.
We believe that dance should be fun and inspiring—but it is also an important educational experience. Maintaining structure, discipline, and mutual respect in the studio helps create a space where every dancer can thrive. Thank you for helping us support a positive and productive environment at No Limits Dance Studio.
Dress Code
To support a focused and professional learning environment, all students are expected to follow the studio’s dress code policy:
-
A clean, neat appearance promotes discipline, attentiveness, and respect—for the teacher, fellow dancers, and the art of dance itself.
-
Proper dance attire allows instructors to see the dancer’s alignment and posture, enabling accurate and safe corrections.
-
Hair must be securely tied back and off the face and neck for all dance styles. A bun with a hairnet is required for ballet classes.
-
Jewelry should be minimal—only small stud earrings are permitted. No dangling or loose items such as bracelets, watches, or necklaces are allowed.
-
No gum is permitted in class for safety reasons.
-
Loose-fitting clothing, blue jeans, or t-shirts are not considered dancewear and are not allowed in class.
-
Costumes may only be worn during special dress-up days as designated by the instructor.
For full dress code details by class type, please visit the Class Info section under the Classes tabs.
Tuition Policies
Tuition is charged on a flat monthly rate and remains the same each month—regardless of student absences, the number of class meetings, holidays, or studio closures due to weather or other unforeseen events. No discounts are applied for shorter months or missed classes.
June tuition is billed at the full monthly rate, even though the recital typically occurs in the first week of the month. This is because instruction continues in the form of rehearsals, dress/tech rehearsals, and the recital itself—all of which are integral components of your dancer’s education and performance experience.
Absences and Make-Up Classes
We strongly encourage students to attend all scheduled classes, but we understand that occasional absences may occur. In the event of a missed class:
-
Make-up classes are available and should be completed within two weeks of the absence.
-
Make-ups can be taken in any class of the same level or appropriate alternative, even if it’s a different dance style.
-
Please notify the studio in advance of the absence to be eligible for a make-up class.
-
Make-up classes do not need to occur in the same week, but they must be completed during the same month.
Important Note on June Tuition
Enrollment is based on an 11-month season (August–June). Although June may appear shorter due to recital timing, your dancer still receives the full value of their instruction through participation in final rehearsals and performances. These experiences are essential in developing stage presence, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment—and are considered part of the instructional program.

All tuition payments are due on the 1st of each calendar month.
We accept the following forms of payment:
